A leading payroll service provider in the UK is seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst for 12 months of maternity cover. This role involves processing high volume payrolls, performing HR administration duties, and providing support to employees. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in payroll processing and strong Excel skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Process high volume weekly and monthly payrolls across the UK.
  • Conduct data input for starters, leavers, and tax code changes.
  • Perform HR administration duties such as checking RTW and issuing contracts.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries.

Overview

Portfolio Payroll are currently supporting a well established and globally recognised brand in Woking who are looking to hire an enthusiastic & skilled Payroll Analyst on a 12 month fixed maternity cover.

Reporting into the Payroll Manager and working within a team of six, this role will be working in a fast paced, customer support focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Processing high volume weekly & monthly payrolls across the UK, ROI & Jersey
  • Data input including starters, leavers, tax code changes and statutory leave etc
  • HR administration duties including checking RTW and issuing contracts
  • Assisting with processing payrolls for salaried and hourly paid employees
  • Being the first point of contact for employee queries
  • Supporting the Occupational Health process
  • Issuing online employee offer packs and contracts
Experience required
  • Proven expeirence of processing high volume payrolls
  • Confident working within a fast paced & pressurised environment
  • Strong Excel skills - V Lookups/ Pivot Tables
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A go getter attitude, proactive & a team player
Additional information

This role offers flexibility with working hours & hybrid working (2 days per week in the office). Other benefits include 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, a generous pension scheme and staff discount.
