Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a detail–driven Payroll Administrator who loves numbers and enjoys keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. In this role, you will take charge of a weekly payroll for a variety of employees and contractors, making sure everyone is paid accurately and on time, every time.

Responsibilities
  • Own the weekly payroll: Process timesheets, overtime, holiday pay and deductions with total accuracy.
  • Stay compliant: Keep records in line with HMRC requirements and UK payroll legislation.
  • Be the go–to person: Answer pay queries, onboard new starters and collaborate with managers across different teams.
  • Report & analyse: Create clear payroll reports, track costs and support audits or year–end tasks.
Qualifications
  • Solid experience running UK payrolls and a strong grasp of PAYE, NI and pensions.
  • Confidence using payroll or rostering software (any system is fine as training is provided!).
  • A sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to meet weekly deadlines in a busy environment.
