A prominent healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Patient and Staff Logistics Officer to join their Resilience Directorate. This key role involves leading the Patient Transport Booking Bureau, managing interpreting services, and overseeing uniform provisions for staff. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to develop standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in management and call centre operations. A comprehensive induction and supportive work environment are provided.
We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our new management structure within our Resilience Directorate. We are looking to appoint a Patient and Staff Logistics Officer, a key role leading the Trust’s Patient Transport Booking Bureau and managing our Interpreting Services and Uniforms for staff within our clinical services.
This post sits within our Resilience Directorate, which provides centralised support to the Clinical Operating Divisions for services including emergency planning and major incident management, CQC compliance, patient transport, interpreting services, and a health and safety function for the Trust.
The postholder will provide line management and support for the patient and staff logistics team and ensure that the PTS booking centre operates effectively throughout its opening hours, maintaining reasonable call waiting times. This will ensure all queries relating to transport and interpreting services are managed in a timely manner, including any escalations from the patient and staff logistics coordinators.
You will also support the Head of EPRR and Patient and Staff Logistics with the procurement and contract management of these services across the CLCH geography. Alongside this, you will provide reports for the operating divisions on the use and operating processes of these services, ensuring quality, value for money, and a consistently positive experience for patients and staff.
Just as we care about our patients’ well‑being, we care about yours!
