A dedicated teaching organization in the City Of London is seeking a Pastoral Support Team Member to start from January 2025. Qualifications

  • Experience working with children who have social, emotional, or behavioural needs.
  • Clear understanding of high-quality teaching and learning for SEN pupils.
  • Strong track record in pastoral or SEN support roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support student wellbeing and improve their capacity to learn.
  • Help students with emotional self-regulation and build trusting relationships.
  • Guide students in reflecting on their actions and feelings.
  • Be proactive in de-escalating behaviour using appropriate strategies.
  • Build meaningful pastoral relationships to support personal development.
