Job summary

A leading dealership in Epsom is seeking a Parts Supervisor to manage inventory control and supervise a parts team. The role requires proven automotive parts management experience, strong leadership skills, and attention to detail. Applicants should be impeccably dressed and hold a full Driving Licence. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with Saturday shifts on a rota basis.

Job description

We are working with a dealership based in Epsom, Surrey, who are in need of a Parts Supervisor.

PARTS SUPERVISOR
Main Duties
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimise stock levels while minimising excess inventory and carrying costs
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular Stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies
  • Provide accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing parts transactions
  • All Parts verification completed daily
  • Ensure vehicle health checks are completed accurately to maintain the workshop efficiency
  • Advise the Aftersales Manager of any backorder issues, using the parts escalation process to provide updates
  • Supervise a team of parts staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Interact with customers to understand their parts requirements and provide assistance in locating and selecting the right parts
  • Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, referring any unresolved problems to the After Sales Manager
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations both internal and external by delivering exceptional service at all times.
Key Skills/Attributes Required
  • Proven experience in automotive parts management, with a track record of achieving KPI targets
  • Knowledge of the brand parts and systems
  • Experience using Kerridge
  • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in supervising and motivating teams
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.

Applicants will be expected to be immaculately attired as is befitting the brand and must hold a full Driving Licence.

The hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.00- 18.00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Total 45 hours per week. Saturday 08.00 - 13.00 on a rota basis will be required, paid as extra hour.
