A government agency in London is seeking a Partnerships Lead to provide strategic direction for stakeholder engagement and supplier relationships in the realm of scientific research. The role includes developing partnerships with academia and industry, establishing communication avenues for innovation, and capturing community requirements for R&D objectives. Information about the Role
The role of Partnerships Lead will provide vital strategic direction in stakeholder and supplier (government, industry or academia) engagement and will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining stakeholder-supplier relationships essential for the future success of the CT Research Laboratory. The role will engage with: (a) CTP stakeholders to identify research and innovation needs, (b) policing and partners to ensure activities are informed by previous work and align with existing and future initiatives and (c) industry and academia to commission research activities. Importantly this role will develop our map of emerging research and innovation capabilities within academia and industry and initiate robust communication avenues and collaboration pathways with key players in the field.
The requirement arises from a gap in CTP and the CT Research Laboratory in specific of a leading role in partnerships in both targeted and blue skies scientific research that can be honed to deliver innovation aimed at resolving current and future operational requirements. The Partnerships Lead will establish a CTP research and innovation portfolio of stakeholders and suppliers to realise our S&T objectives. The role will also help capture requirements from CTP’s customer communities and the translation of these requirements into R&D objectives.
