Job summary

A local recruitment agency in Andover is looking for a Part Time Production Operative for a temporary role starting immediately. You will work Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 12.30pm, totaling 25 hours a week. Responsibilities include assisting in the production of small engineering products. Ideal candidates have prior production experience, a positive attitude, and good attention to detail. The position is likely to be extended beyond January.

Qualifications

Personnel Selection Recruitment is assisting one of our local clients based in Andover Hampshire with finding them a Part Time Production Operative. The working hours will be 7.30am to 12.30pm Monday to Friday, 25 hours total a week.

This is a temporary ongoing role until the end of January but highly likely to be extended. This position is available for an immediate start.

SKILLS REQUIRED AND JOB FUNCTION
  • Ideally have previous experience working in a production / assembly environment.
  • Happy to undergo training.
  • Numerate and literate.
  • Able to follow instructions clearly and precisely.
  • Happy assisting in the production of small to medium sized engineering products that are supplied to various industries internationally.
  • Confident in using small hand tools and basic small machinery.
  • Self motivated and happy to work in a repetitive manufacturing environment.
  • Used to working with small items / components - perhaps from a previous employment or home hobby perspective.
  • Good attention to detail is essential and strong eyesight is a must.
  • The work is not overly heavy however there will be some occasions where lifting would be involved.
  • A positive "can do" attitude.
  • Be a valuable team member.
