Overview
Cygnet Hospital Blackheath provides inpatient low secure and PICU services for men with a mental health illness. We are looking for a full time HR Administrator to join our team to provide general administration support and assist in providing a highly effective and efficient HR service. Though this is an HR generalist role, the main duties and responsibilities will be overseeing the recruitment process for the hospital, working closely with the Corporate Recruitment team to ensure a smooth transition through the recruitment, onboarding and induction process to promote a positive experience for all stakeholders. You will be working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and ideally have previous HR experience. Responsibilities
- Preparing and producing HR documentation and correspondence;
- Responsibility for ensuring HR records and systems are accurate, up to date and comply with the principles of the data protection act (including all manual and computerised employee records);
- Ensure that employee personnel files are maintained to the required standard and are fully compliant with CQC guidelines;
- To be proactive in developing and implementing robust systems in area of work which ensure that HR services are planned, co-ordinated, delivered and monitored effectively;
- Assist in the maintenance of employee data on the Computerised HR Information System (Core HR);
- Making employment offers and producing all relevant information including contract and offer letters;
- To actively partake in the recruitment process including checking onboarding packs and arranging start dates;
- Working knowledge of employment legislation;
- Ability to work in a fast paced office environment;
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure with competing deadlines without compromising the quality of work produced;
- Intermediate software knowledge/skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook/PowerPoint);
- Note taking;
- Ability to note take (note: kept as provided in original);
- Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title;
- Ability to work with little supervision;
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
