About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Music Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Barnet. This part‑time role involves teaching music across EYFS to KS2, helping pupils develop practical skills, confidence, and a love of music. The successful candidate will contribute to the school’s wider arts provision and collaborate closely with class teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Support pupils’ progression in singing, instruments, and basic music theory.
  • Encourage participation in school music events, performances, and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into cross‑curricular activities.
  • Maintain records of pupils’ progress and contribute to reporting as required.
Person Specification / Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.
