Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Band 3 Medical Laboratory Assistant for a part-time role at the Central Specimen Reception Department. The successful candidate will undertake routine laboratory tasks, including data entry and operating equipment, as part of a team. Previous NHS experience is preferred, and the role requires a positive attitude towards flexible working and the ability to meet deadlines. This position involves rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous NHS experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work a rotational shift pattern.
• Participate in a rotational shift pattern from Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine laboratory work and provide general laboratory assistance.
• Entry of patient details and other data into laboratory information systems.
• Operating laboratory equipment and maintaining checks and quality control.

Education
