Overview

KS1 Teacher – Part-Time (Blandford Forum)

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Blandford Forum. This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week, starting after October half-term.

The Role

• Delivering engaging lessons to a KS1 class, with planning included.
• Supporting children’s progress in Maths and English with a strong focus on early learning outcomes.
• Delivering high-quality phonics teaching to support early reading and writing development.
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Proven experience teaching within KS1.
• A strong background in Maths and English.
• Phonics training (essential).
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
