Our client, a well-established and growing healthcare business based in Buckinghamshire, is seeking a dynamic Head of Finance to join their senior leadership team on a part-time basis. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a mission-led environment and is passionate about driving financial excellence in a sector that truly makes a difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial strategy, planning, and reporting across the organisation
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Provide financial insight and guidance to the Board and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and sector-specific regulations
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial partners
  • Support funding applications and grant reporting where applicable
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes
Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within healthcare or a regulated sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a small leadership team
  • Experience with charity or social enterprise finance (desirable but not essential)
