Part-time Accounts Assistant / Accounts Manager / Finance Administrator Flexible 25 hours per week, salary c. £28,000 pro-rata.


We re looking for an organised, proactive accounts professional with strong experience in VAT returns and bank reconciliations to support our finance function in a friendly and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and submitting accurate VAT returns

  • Carrying out regular bank reconciliations

  • Processing sales and purchase orders, invoices, payments, and receipts using Xero

  • Checking supplier statements and investigating variances

  • Managing debt recovery and credit control

  • Overseeing stock reports and inventory management

  • Using bespoke finance and admin software

  • Preparing reports and financial summaries as needed

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial administration

  • Proven ability with VAT returns and bank reconciliations (essential)

  • Experience using Xero (essential)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organised, detail-focused, and confident managing your own workload
