Overview

Parcelforce Worldwide is seeking reliable Warehouse Sorters to join our fast-paced team. We are a part of Royal Mail and operate across a network of depots in the UK. We use intelligent technology to stay efficient and strive to deliver a smooth and secure service.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles; scan and label parcels quickly and accurately.
• Ensure every package leaves the processing centre on time and in good condition.

Contract and hours

Contract Type: Permanent

Working hours: 15 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Typical shifts: Friday 23:00 – 07:00 and Sunday 23:00 – 06:00.

Salary and benefits

• Starting salary: £24,210 (£12.21 per hour), increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) after a 6 month probation.
• Additional supplement of £842 per annum pro rata, nightshift allowance and benefits (based on a 38 hour full-time week).
• Potential total package of circa £30,000 per annum including benefits (based on a 38 hour week with overtime).
• Night allowance of £102 per week.
• Sunday premium of £3.45 per hour for contracted hours on Saturday after 06:00 and Sunday 00:01 – 23:59.
• Company pension scheme and 22.5 days annual holiday entitlement, increasing with service.
• Option to purchase additional leave direct from pay.
