Job Purpose
In this role, you’ll inspire, engage and lead your team to deliver outstanding performance while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer service.

Key Accountabilities
People
- Champion health & safety, ensuring your shift complies with policy and proactively addressing day-to-day safety issues.
- Build a supportive, inclusive workplace by promoting engagement, celebrating diversity, and tackling unacceptable behaviour.
- Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential and maximise contribution.
- Clearly communicate team targets and provide regular feedback, recognising strong performance and constructively challenging underperformance.
Customer
- Ensure your work area is cleared on time in line with the work plan, taking swift action to resolve issues that may impact clearance.
- Deliver accurate and timely shift reporting to support effective planning.
- Apply Continuous Improvement methods to enhance quality, service, and efficiency.
Performance
- Lead and inspire your team in line with Atherstone Parcel Sorting Centre standards.
- Regularly review area performance, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Share and display performance data to keep the team informed and engaged.
- Support and embed change initiatives, helping your team understand and adapt to new processes.
