Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B Prison located in Bicester, Oxford.

HMP Bullingdon is a male remand prison that has a capacity for 1,152 and offers 24 hours healthcare with an inpatient unit on-site.

Hours

37.5 hours - Long days 7:30am-7:30pm and nights 7:30pm-7:30am, a minimum of 5 nights across a 4 week period, and working every other weekend.

Salary

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £47,250 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients by listening to and acting on their feedback, focusing on emergency and unplanned care for patients with both primary and acute care needs.
  • Deliver non-judgemental care, build therapeutic relationships and promote professional boundaries.
  • Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care following our policies and procedures, always considering safeguarding.
