Job Title: Paralegal with 2+ Years Experience
Reporting to: Head of Medical Negligence

Award-winning North Leeds Firm is looking for a Paralegal with experience in dealing with Claimant Medical Negligence matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven and motivated candidate to be involved with the expansion of our Medical Negligence department.

Key Tasks
  • Handling a variety of clinical negligence claims from inception to settlement, including both pre and post litigation claims.
  • Litigation experience is essential to this role
  • Excellent understanding of CPR Rules and The Pre-Action Protocol for the Resolution of Clinical Disputes
  • Experience in handling a variety of complex medical negligence claims from inception to completion.
  • Experience of working to targets and KPIs
  • Experience using Proclaim database is preferable
  • Training junior staff members in handling medical negligence claims
  • Working with marketing to expand the department
Experience
  • 2 years + experience in handling Claimant Medical Negligence claims is essential.
