Packaging Procurement Executive
Location: Alconbury
Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary £32,000

Are you organised, detail-focused, and passionate about procurement? We're working with a thriving business in the FMCG sector who are looking for a Packaging Procurement Executive to join their busy procurement team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career within procurement, playing a key role in ensuring packaging materials are delivered on time and in full to support smooth operations.

Duties

• Managing the procurement of packaging materials including sleeves, boxes, labels, and equipment.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and responsiveness.
• Maintaining accurate data across procurement systems - pricing, forecasts, and lead times.
• Working closely with Supply Chain, Technical, NPD, and Commercial teams to align packaging with business and customer needs.
• Supporting new product launches and seasonal peaks (Valentine\'s, Mother\'s Day, Christmas).
• Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues to avoid disruption.
• Ensuring invoices, forecasts, and compliance data are up to date and accurate.

What we\'re looking for

• Previous experience in a procurement or supply chain role, ideally within packaging or FMCG.
• Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
