Job summary

A successful educational institution in Sheffield is seeking a Headteacher's PA to provide professional support and manage administrative tasks of the school office. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, relevant qualifications in office administration, and experience in a school setting. Job description

Hours: 37 hours per week for 40 weeks per year. Start date: 1 January 2026 or as soon as possible after this date.

Headteacher's PA – Role Overview

The school is looking for a Headteacher's PA to provide confidential and highly professional support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team and ensure the smooth running of the school office and all administrative tasks related to the function of the office.

Essential Skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy, good communication skills
  • Flexible, proactive, ability to work on own initiative
  • Good time management
Experience / Qualifications
  • Maths and English at Level 2 or above
  • Relevant qualifications/expertise in office administration and IT applications including Microsoft Office and the SIMS MIS system or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a school is desirable
