Location: London

Purpose

The role of this Personal Assistant is to provide high level support to the Senior Management Team ensuring first‑class administrative standards, effective time management and a very high level of confidentiality. The individual will provide a confidential, dedicated, professional & diligent service and also support the Executive Assistant Team during busy periods.

Role
  • Providing high level support to the Senior Management Team
  • Managing scheduling and meeting prioritisation for the Senior Management Team
  • Working closely with the EA Team to drive efficiencies and support process improvement
  • Co‑ordinating travel for including booking; flights/cars/hotels/restaurants and handling visa applications
  • Office management duties including facilities, supplier liaison, health & safety oversight and co‑ordinating arrangements for internal & external meetings (rooms, itineraries, catering, meet & greet)
  • General administration to include, expenses, raising purchase orders and management of invoices
  • Assisting with the production of documents & presentations, when required e.g. match day itineraries
  • Communicating professionally and confidentially, both internally & externally
  • Building strong relationships and a network of contacts at all levels across the club
  • Working cross‑functionally with the other PA’s and EA’s to deliver aligned standards
  • Understanding club and office protocols and delivering requirements to a high standard
  • Adding value to the team supported, using transferable skills and capabilities
  • Using technology to work dynamically and elevate the support provided
  • Operating in a trustworthy and confidential manner
Person

This role requires an individual who is confident in their own abilities, yet keen to learn from others as part of a team that continually grows and develops. The ideal candidate will be highly professional, diligent, and demonstrate excellent personal and professional conduct, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to represent the organisation with confidence and discretion.

Experience
  • Experience working in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Office Manager or similar role, providing high‑quality support to senior leaders and/or overseeing office operations
  • Experience supporting directors or senior stakeholders within a professional environment
  • Experience coordinating office systems, facilities, suppliers or day‑to‑day office operations
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience gained in any sector is welcomed; experience within football, sport, media, business or similarly fast‑paced environments is beneficial but not essential
Knowledge
  • An understanding of organisational operations, governance and business or commercial objectives, or a willingness to develop this knowledge
  • Awareness of office management practices, including health & safety, facilities coordination, and administrative processes
  • Knowledge of the football industry or commercial business environments is advantageous but not a requirement

  • Ability to manage office processes, systems and resources efficiently, ensuring a well‑organised, safe and inclusive working environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and inclusively with colleagues, visitors and external partners

  • Able to adapt communication and working styles to suit different leadership approaches and individual needs
  • Trustworthy and discreet, capable of handling highly confidential and sensitive information with integrity

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working, recognising that priorities may change; reasonable adjustments will be considered
