A mainstream secondary school in Hereford are looking for an dedicated and experienced PE Teacher who will contribute to the wider success of the school and join their Physical Education Department on a short-term basis. You should be comfortable taking on a 0.5 timetable which will include teaching PE to Key Stages 3 to 4. The school is highly regarded for its pupil progress.

You will be expected to have a good knowledge of the national curriculum an enthusiastic and engaging teacher.

The school are looking for a Teacher to start from October 2025 and are looking to interview immediately. This roll will continue for the rest of the Autum term. There is a possibility of this being extended further.

Responsibilities
  • Teach PE to Key Stages 3 to 4 as part of a 0.5 timetable.
  • Contribute to the wider success of the school and PE Department.
Qualifications
  • QTS with P.E specialism (QTLS and Instructors may also be considered)
  • 12 months experience of teaching PE to Key Stage 4
  • Have the ability to deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
  • Have a knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and be able to implement strategies with a class of 30 children
  • Be available for a part time placement from October December
