Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Outpatients Department team. Working in a supportive and patient-focused environment, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care across a range of specialities. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a close-knit, professional team where your skills, compassion, and expertise will truly make a difference to patient experience and outcomes.

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week with a combination of shifts, Monday to Saturday - Saturday shifts are at least twice a month.

Shift patterns - 07:45-17:45 = Early / 09:00-19:00 = Mid shift / 11:00-21:00 = Late

Main duties of the job

As an Outpatient Nurse, you\'ll:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients attending the Outpatients Department.
  • Undertake assessments, plan and deliver treatment and care across multiple clinical specialities.
  • Support consultants and healthcare colleagues during clinics and minor procedures.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with clinical governance standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an efficient, patient-centred service.
  • Provide education, advice, and support to patients and their families.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of services within the department.
