A local authority partner seeks an Out of Hours Support Worker in Cardiff to deliver essential support to vulnerable families during off-hours. Rate of Pay: £14.09- £18.42 per hour
The Intervention Support Worker (Out of Hours) provides critical emergency support to vulnerable children, young people, and families outside of standard office hours. Operating within the Interventions Hub, this role features a dual function: providing family support to enhance parenting capacity and delivering residential support in bespoke emergency placements following the "Right Place" model. The goal is to ensure families receive the right help at the right time, promoting child health and development while adhering to statutory duties.
Education at GCSE or equivalent level. Ability to complete the All Wales Induction Framework for Health and Social Care within 6 months of appointment.
