Overview

Theatre Scrub Nurse/ODP - Orthopaedics/Spinal — Full time at New Hall hospital.

Join Ramsay Health Care UK’s Theatre department as an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse/ODP and support our people-focused care culture. You’ll work in theatres with features such as laminar airflow systems and state-of-the-art integrated theatre technology, with access to the Ramsay Academy for professional development and potential to gain your SFA. There is scope to develop your career across the 30+ network of independent hospitals in the UK. A can-do attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality clinical outcomes are essential in a supported environment where your skills are valued.

Responsibilities

Support intraoperative orthopaedic and spinal cases as a Scrub Nurse/ODP, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile technique. Collaborate with the surgical team to provide effective patient care and contribute to positive clinical outcomes. Adapt to varying shifts and responsibilities as required by the theatre schedule.

What you’ll bring
  • NMC/HCPC registration
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics including but not limited to hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments
  • Spinal Scrub experience
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
