Job description

Reporting to the National Sales Manager Prestige Brands, the Oribe Key Account Manager will be responsible for Prestige, Luxe and Expert Tier Oribe accounts, ensuring growth and sales targets are met to deliver the commercial plans of the Oribe brand.

You will lead customer Joint Business Planning Meetings and ensure execution in collaboration with the multifunctional Oribe team, including Sales and Education, working in line with the brand strategy.

This will involve planning and supporting bespoke customer education and marketing campaigns, bringing to life the customer and brand key focus areas with Oribe. You will also collaborate with, support, and where possible recommend and discuss Goldwell Colour, introducing Oribe salons to Goldwell and encouraging joint working.

Key Requirements:
  • Plan, build and execute individual customer plans, delivering a best-in-class customer experience by partnering closely through Joint Business Planning and utilizing all internal teams. Build strong relationships with each account, being their go-to partner for Oribe.
  • Financial – on-target budget achievement for key accounts. Create and deliver annual salon contracts to exceed all sales targets and objectives as set. Achieve ongoing monthly and annual promotional and distribution goals. This will be measured by year-over-year (YOY) growth.
  • Grow productivity of each account as set via education, product distribution and events. Continuously seek out and open new accounts according to distribution targets set. Process all orders plus update all required business information on a regular basis.
  • New Business and Social Selling, along with prospecting the right accounts in your assigned region. Dedicate specific days to seek out growth opportunities by identifying suitable Oribe accounts for acquisition
What You’ll Need:
  • Sales certifications and ongoing professional development are highly valued, including programs such as GAP Partnership, negotiation skills, and Social Selling.
  • Commercially astute with 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally within the luxury or professional hairdressing sector (B2B experience preferred). Retail experience or a strong understanding of the salon industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Skilled at identifying and targeting new market opportunities.
  • Able to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with internal teams and external clients.
  • Self-motivated, committed, and enthusiastic, with the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communicator, able to motivate both team members and clients.
  • Experienced in delivering training and coaching team members to meet company standards.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.
  • Comfortable using social media and Social Selling techniques to enhance brand awareness.
  • Confident in presenting to small and medium-sized groups.
