Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading and prestigious packaging company located in Eye, Suffolk. Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking to employ a Order Processing and Office Admin Assistant to start in the New Year.

Competitive salary offered dependent on experience.

Hours will be Monday to Friday - 7.30am - 4.30pm.

Purpose of the role

To be responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties for the Senior Operations Team

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Sales Order Processing - Glass
  • Work with Transport and Warehouse Supervisors to ensure the smooth process of inputting sales orders and following through where questions/problems arise
  • Creating and updating Excel Spreadsheets, including.
    • Driver timesheets
    • Third Party Haulier costs
    • Accidents and near misses
    • Collating paperwork and statements for accidents and near misses
  • Responsible for all company notice boards, ensuring information is up to date
  • Assisting with organisation of Employee Surveys and collecting and collating information and populating spreadsheets
  • Daily task of checking for recorded telephone messages and ensuring these messages are passed to the correct people
  • Ordering site consumables and tracking costs via Excel spreadsheet
Other job requirements
  • When time permits, assist Finance with data inputting tasks
  • Where experienced, cover for holiday and sickness periods
