Oral Health Nurse / Leeds, West Yorkshire

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Leeds, West Yorkshire to recruit an Oral Health Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.

• Mixed practice environment.
• Full or part time opportunity – 3‑5 days per week available.
• Monday – Friday with working hours to be discussed.
• Rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.
• Fully funded GDC, CPD & professional indemnity fees.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a dental nursing role and further qualifications in Oral Health, either a 2‑year OHP Practitioner Course or completion of the Flexible Commissioning course through HEE (Max Course).
• All candidates must be a GDC registered Dental Nurse and hold a valid DBS.

Responsibilities

Dental nurses will assist in various duties such as chairside assistance, mixing materials, infection control, delivering targeted oral health education, prevention & promotion to patients & communities across West Yorkshire. Hold oral health clinics in practices, providing advice to patients & members of the public. You will also be working with early years groups.
