Your Role

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire operation of the optical department.
• Lead and manage your team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants.
• Oversee compliance processes and procedures.
• Review sales forecasting and department targets and address customer queries.
• Manage clinic operations and shop floor processes to ensure the department is well equipped for customers' needs.
• Coach and develop your team; strong coaching skills are required in a fast-paced environment.
• Organise and manage time effectively to balance different responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
• On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
• Confident in coaching others
• Able to provide excellent customer and patient care
• Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
• proven leadership skills in a fast-paced Optics environment
• Organised and able to manage your time effectively
