Overview

We are excited to be working in partnership with a well-established family run Hearing Specialist who have a fantastic full-time permanent opportunity to join their team in the Farnham Area. Our client is looking for someone who has branch managerial experience that can become a valuable member of the team. The role is to provide outstanding support to customers and patients while contributing to the efficiency of the stores. The ideal candidate will be GOC-registered and have experience in enhancing branch growth, staff retention and maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly into the Area Manager with the goal of enhancing branch growth whilst maintaining staff and customer relationships
• Managing the customer relationships, ensuring customer levels of satisfaction remain at their targeted level
• Deliver business results by promoting strategies within branch to enhance performance
• Planning for the future. Setting and achieving realistic business goals by establishing priorities, actions and milestones
• Guiding your team, ensuring they remain motivated and continue to excel within their defined roles

Experience / Qualifications

• Qualified Dispensing Optician
• Fully Registered with the GOC
• Experience as a dispensing optician essential
• Experience within a store manager role or similar desirable
• Knowledge of the Optical and Hearing industry
• Ability to interpret optical prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
• A strong commitment to customer care and a customer-focused approach to work
• Excellent communication skills, to give clear advice to customers
• Empathy and understanding of patients' eye health needs
• Teamworking skills, and the ability to lead and motivate staff
• Attention to detail

Salary

£34,505 - £41,200 DOE
