Job Description

Universal Production Services seeks an organised and self-motivated individual and team player to join our busy film and television set lighting rental facility, Universal Production Services. The Set Lighting and Rigging Operations Technician is a full-time position based in Elstree, Borehamwood.

Responsibilities

• Pulling lighting and rigging orders, testing equipment, cleaning equipment.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles and containers by handballing equipment – heavy lifting required.
• Store away and manage discrepancies from goods in & goods out accurately.
• Work with Senior Operations Technicians and Operations Manager to understand priorities and dispatch deadlines.
• Cleaning and checking lighting equipment upon return from rental.
• Printing equipment job sheets from RTPro software.
• Coordinating with the Account Manager(s) on loading/unloading, stock-checks, and sub-rentals.
• Communicating changes made by crew/production to ensure needs are met.
• Completing all required paperwork.
• Ensuring delivery/pick-up information is correct with the Account Manager(s).
• Maintaining equipment in good working condition, clean, and ready to rent.
• Maintaining a safe and productive environment.
• General warehouse housekeeping.

The role requires going "the extra mile" and completing all assets & attributes of each day’s work.
