About the Role

International SOS is currently recruiting an Operations Specialist to join its team of Medical, Security and Logistics experts based in London, Chiswick

As an Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations. You will collaborate with various departments to optimize processes, support project execution, and maintain high standards of service delivery. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities will drive operational excellence and contribute to the company’s success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a caring attitude when answering queries with the objective of exceeding expectations
  • Coordinate cases effectively by booking appointments, authorizing treatments or handling policy claims using professionalism and care
  • Assess situations, co-ordinate medical care and communicate logistics across the world
  • Collaborate with a team of doctors, nurses, security and operations experts in a fast-paced environment.
About you

In order to be successful as an Operations Specialist you will need :

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Critical thinking and organisational skills to handle a variety of situations
  • Naturally sympathetic with determination to help people
  • The ability to take ownership of protecting data and process integrity
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office
  • Experience as a Customer Service Executive in a contact centre or similar environment would be beneficial
  • Educated to A’ Level or Degree level with an interest in Healthcare, World Politics or International Security is preferred
