The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our educational programmes while building strong partnerships with schools and clients.
What You'll Do
Operational Leadership
- Take full ownership of course and educational institution operations, acting as the primary liaison with school partners
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure successful collaboration and exceptional service delivery
- Manage procurement of essential course resources, including stationery, course materials, and promotional items
- Oversee multiple operational communication channels, ensuring professional and timely responses
Course Management & Scheduling
- Monitor course bookings and capacity to optimise resource allocation and prevent overbooking
- Manage the complete booking lifecycle from initial contact through to welcome pack distribution
- Provide clients with comprehensive pre-course information including content guidance, room specifications, and technology requirements
- Set up and manage virtual learning environments using platforms such as VLE, Big Blue Button, and Microsoft Teams
Process Excellence & Asset Management
- Implement and refine operational processes to drive efficiency and service quality
- Develop innovative tracking and information-sharing systems
- Oversee laptop distribution to learners, maintaining accurate records and ensuring equipment returns
- Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and reporting
Communication & Relationship Management
- Foster seamless communication between Operations and other departments
- Keep all stakeholders informed of booking status, operational updates, and key developments
- Maintain clear, professional client communication to align expectations
- Collect and analyse client feedback on course delivery and student experience, identifying opportunities for improvement and celebrating successes
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in education or training
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Strong relationship-building and communication abilities
- Experience with virtual learning platforms and educational technology
- Detail-oriented approach with strong administrative capabilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
