Operations Manager – Major Infrastructure / Energy Project

Location: London (Hybrid - weekly office attendance required)

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to support a major nuclear infrastructure portfolio within the Energy division of a leading consultancy and engineering organisation. This is a high-impact role supporting one of the UK's most complex and strategically significant infrastructure programmes, playing a key part in the delivery of a new nuclear power station and contributing directly to the UK's Net Zero ambitions. The role combines people leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder management, offering the opportunity to shape and scale a growing team while ensuring robust, compliant, and efficient operational delivery across the portfolio.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a growing multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective recruitment, mobilisation, engagement, and ongoing capability development. You will act as a critical interface between the project portfolio and central operational and corporate functions, ensuring consistency of process, governance, and delivery. You will be hands‑on in supporting line managers, enabling seconded team members, and fostering a positive, engaged, and high‑performing team culture.

Working Arrangements
