Role

Registered Veterinary Nurse at Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital in the OOHTeam. We are a Tier 3 accredited Hospital providing high standards of care with a well-equipped practice. We are seeking a hard-working, self-motivated nurse with a desire to continually improve clinical care within a busy hospital environment. Experience of emergency and night work is preferred but not essential.

Our team comprises 17 veterinary surgeons with a range of interests and skills, a 16-strong nursing team, a supportive practice management team, and a focus on high standards of clinical care. The role requires good communication and teamwork, and a commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Averaged as 33 hours per week
  • A mix of days and nights, weekends and bank holidays over a 5 week rolling rota (shifts over 3 weeks followed by 2 weeks off )
  • Shift times: days 7:00 am – 7:15 pm and nights 7:00 pm – 7:15 am
  • Contribute to high standards of patient care within a busy hospital environment
