Overview

Prospero Teaching is looking for a 1:1 Online Tutor to deliver sessions remotely in GCSE English, Maths or Science. The Online Tutor will bridge learning gaps, raise attainment and prepare students for their GCSEs. The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills both in the classroom and when delivering online learning and a passion for helping students from a range of backgrounds to develop their Maths skills.

We are looking for Maths tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year UK classroom experience
• Be confident teaching sessions online
• Provide a firm but fair approach
• Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prospero's course

Eligibility

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
