Job description

Responsibilities

• Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered ready for delivery, or providing substitutions when products are out of stock
• Using a handheld device to plan your route around the store, identify what you need to select, and manage time to complete each shop
• Working behind the scenes handling customer queries, processing orders and helping to load vans for Home Delivery Drivers
• Being ready to serve customers, answer questions and proactively offer help
• Building knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations
• Working flexibly across the store as required
• Comfortable with early starts (shifts often start around 4am) and thriving in a fast-paced, physical and high-energy environment
• Friendly and welcoming with enthusiasm for helping customers
• Taking initiative to solve problems and own tasks in a high-energy environment
• Willing to learn new skills and be fully trained in a variety of tasks to learn, develop and try new things
• Comfortable using new digital tools and technology and able to move shopping containers up to 15 kg
• Maintaining attention to detail and keeping the store clean to create the best shopping experience

Qualifications

You must be above the school-leaver age in your country. If shifts cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age. You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
