Overview

OFTEC Engineer – a well-established family run business with over 30 years in the Gas sector, seeking an OFTEC Installation Engineer to work on various Domestic Gas Heating Contracts in and around the Swindon area.

Responsibilities

• Replace existing boilers with new, as well as like-for-like boiler replacements.
• Complete full system installs of domestic heating systems within social housing/flats.
• Service and complete breakdowns on oil fired boilers and cookers.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements of oil-fired appliances.

Requirements

• Minimum OFTEC 101; full ACS Domestic certificates would be an advantage.
• Experience in domestic gas installation.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written.
• Willing to cover Swindon and surrounding area.
• Must provide hand tools.
• Aga experience is a great advantage.

Salary and Benefits

£38k - £42k basic dependent on experience plus door-to-door travel, call out, vehicle, and pension.
