Job summary

A specialist talent acquisition consultancy is seeking an Offshore Methods Lead for the BP NEP Project in Teesside. This full-time, 6-month role requires at least 10 years of experience in pipeline construction methods within the Energy or Oil & Gas sectors. Responsibilities include managing engineering processes, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and coordinating with the offshore installation team. Applicants must have a relevant technical degree and OEUK medical certification, along with UK right-to-work status.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction methods for pipeline landfall within the Energy or Oil & Gas sectors.
  • OEUK medical certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the methods engineering work programme.
  • Oversee design solutions interpretation and implementation.
  • Supervise document and records management process.
  • Monitor and coordinate project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and contractual standards.
  • Manage technical coordination with the Client.
  • Coordinate with vessel's technical lead.
  • Ensure completion of checklists and installation records.
  • Participate in offshore operations for methodology adherence.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections.
