Location: Regional - South, South West & South East London

Job Overview

Effectively support and assist the SOM in managing the performance of a designated region, ensuring that all contracted and temporary hours are fulfilled by trained officers. Deputise for the SOM during times of absence and take full responsibility for the operational performance of the allocated business.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver results for the identified area, meeting or exceeding budget and service delivery requirements.
  • Induct and provide comprehensive STARS training for all newly appointed security officers from induction to probation sign‑off.
  • Deliver all corporate training documentation to the required standard and distribute it within the identified area.
  • Implement and follow up on officer personnel development plans where required.
  • Support the security officer population in the compliance of SMART usage.
  • Maintain officer standards as required by the business (uniform, time‑keeping, task completion).
  • Deliver focus topics and ad‑hoc training as identified by the business.
  • Deliver ongoing support to ensure learning is embedded for all officers.
  • Deliver performance management, PIP, and development plans to officers where required.
  • Integrate into the Mitie duty manager roster and ensure behaviours that endanger H&S are identified and rectified.
  • Support the SOM with initial investigation for QHSE incidents and complete full investigation and submission during SOM absence.
  • Maintain communication, recognise achievement and develop the Mitie community.
  • Undertake duties associated with void properties inclusive of site inspections and audits within a designated area.
