• Provide safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate.
• Support triage and reduce duplication between health and social care to minimise OT waiting lists.
• Assist external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling tasks.
• Review care packages to ensure best value and utilisation of available equipment for Adult Social Care.
• Evaluate double-handed care packages for efficiency and safety.
• Offer mutual aid to other OT areas as needed.
• Conduct OT assessments and reviews across the directorate in a safe and timely manner.
