A regional healthcare provider in Hereford is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their In Patient Therapies Team. The role involves conducting assessments and interventions for various patient groups, emphasizing mental health services. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and skills in communication and teamwork. Due to promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the In Patient Therapies Team at the Stonebow Unit in Hereford. You will work as part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team to provide OT assessment and treatment for a variety of patient groups including older adults with dementia, functional older adults, and working age adults, based on skill set and team need. The OT service utilises the Model of Human Occupation as the informing evidence base, using standardised assessment tools and evidence-based intervention plans. The team includes Senior OTs, Therapy Assistants, Physiotherapy and Psychology. There is a strong emphasis on training, supervision and reflective practice with an expectation for clinical excellence. You will have a passion for working in mental health services, excellent communication and interaction skills and motivation to develop your practice.
This is a full-time post, but we would consider applicants looking for part time.
