We are recruiting Occupational Therapists to join a group of outstanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Essex. These permanent roles are ideal for therapists who want to make a long-term impact supporting children with complex needs in a school-based setting.
Deliver OT assessments and interventions for pupils with ASD, ADHD, sensory needs, SEMH, SLD, PMLD and complex needs.
Create and implement personalised therapy plans to promote independence, regulation and functional skills.
Provide 1 : 1 and small-group therapy sessions.
Work closely with teachers, parents and external professionals to embed OT strategies across the school day.
Contribute to EHCP outcomes, reviews and multi-disciplinary discussions.
Qualified Occupational Therapist (HCPC registered or pending).
Experience in paediatrics, schools, SEN or clinical settings supporting children.
Strong understanding of sensory integration and functional skill development.
Confident communicator and adaptable practitioner.
Someone committed to long-term professional growth within a school environment.
Supportive therapy teams with OTs, SaLT, Physios and behaviour specialists.
