Nursing Home Manager (Care Home Manager / Registered Manager / Matron) – up to £65,000 per annum (on target earnings). Location: nursing home near Nantwich specializing in nursing care for the elderly, including dementia care.

Job reference: JO19564. 40 hours per week, as the home’s needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote clinical and administrative arrangements, training and care planning within the home.
• Organise and motivate the carer team to ensure high standards of care.
• Maintain and monitor the health and welfare of residents.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals, including GPs and multidisciplinary team members.
• Ensure CQC National Minimum Standards regulations are met to secure the needs, welfare and social inclusion of residents.
• Organise and attend regular staff meetings.
• Ensure the overall smooth, efficient and effective running of the care home at all times.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Previous experience as a Home Manager.
• Must hold RMA / NVQ5 or equivalent.
• Valid NMC PIN – RGN, RMN essential.
• Experience in budgeting and recruitment.
• Passion for elderly care.

Good communication skills, prior home management experience and a passion for providing outstanding care are essential.
