Job summary

A local nursery facility is seeking a Level 3 Practitioner to deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5. Level 3 Practitioner + Recognition Bonus ( Pro Rata)

Our beautiful home from home nursery, rated Good by Ofsted (March 2024), offers a comforting, warm and inviting environment providing quality childcare for children from birth to 5 years. As a Nursery Practitioner, your role involves delivering exceptional care and education to children, ensuring they are in a nurturing and secure environment. You will play a vital role in fostering their development and well-being, while also maintaining clear and effective communication with both parents and colleagues. You will offer exceptional care and education to children, creating a fun and nurturing setting that inspires the children around you. We create a joyful and caring environment that encourages children to learn and grow. One day they might imagine being a pirate, and the next day, they could be a mermaid. Every day is a new adventure.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Deliver learning experiences and planned activities for a key group that provides outstanding opportunities for the children
  • Work within a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children
  • Work in partnership with parents to ensure the outcomes for children are met
  • Assess and report on children's progress to ensure continued development
  • Be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team and have a hands on approach to your own professional learning and development
