Job Description:
Role summary

The Shift Manager reports to the Operations Manager and leads all aspects of the daily shift operation to ensure efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities include maintaining service levels aligned with SLAs and KPIs, and managing team performance to meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the warehousing operation ensuring accurate sortation of goods.
  2. Ensure all activities comply with company policies and safety standards.
  3. Manage costs and performance of the shift.
  4. Drive excellent customer service through team engagement.
  5. Manage performance, conduct, attendance, engagement, and training of team members, ensuring standards are met.
  6. Monitor KPIs, identify improvements, and communicate actions.
  7. Provide shift summaries and handover records, detailing any exceptions and actions taken.
Essential criteria
  • Experience in logistics or distribution industry.
