Job description
Join a Night Shift That Truly Makes a Difference!

We’d like you to join us as a Night Time Support Worker at our client’s home based in Mancot, North Wales.

Looking for something more meaningful than your average care role? Step into the quiet calm bungalow and become the empowering presence that helps a spirited gentleman live life on his terms.

Sleep Night Support (23 nights per week)
Accessible only by car must be a confident driver

Prior care experience preferred, but heart and respect matter most as this client is 1:1 person‑centered overnight support. Promoting independence, offering minimal‑yet‑impactful support, and helping someone rediscover his confidence

When you’ll be working:
  • 2–3 night shifts a week: 9pm–8am, 10pm–6am as a sleep night, 9pm–10pm as night time routine and 6am–8am as morning routine
Your Presence Could Empower a Gentle Soul Night Support Role

Step into a relaxed and welcoming home where your support helps someone live the life they choose.

What You’ll Be Joining
  • A peaceful, two‑bedroom bungalow where comfort and familiarity matter
  • Your own staff bedroom for restful sleep nights
  • Shared kitchen and bathroom in a space that feels like home
  • A nightly routine guided by the person you’re supporting; you walk beside
Who You’ll Be Supporting

Meet a quietly determined individual whose life changed following a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis but whose drive to maintain independence is unwavering. He uses a power chair and requires hoisting assistance, but don’t let that define him. What truly shines is his self‑awareness, his resolve, and his desire to direct his own care. He values structure, kindness, and gentle encouragement. While confidence has wavered in recent times, his openness and approachability create space for trust and connection.

Your presence matters not to take over, but to enable.

What You’ll Bring
  • You’re someone who understands that care is a collaboration, not a command.
  • You respect autonomy.
  • You listen, support, and empower.
  • You find joy in offering just enough help to let someone flourish.
  • Driving is essential, and prior care experience is a bonus but compassion leads the way.

More than a job this is an opportunity to be part of someone’s story. To help him reconnect with confidence, rebuild self‑esteem, and feel truly at home with the world again.

Ready to make a difference during the quietest hours? Let’s start the conversation.

What to look forward to:
  • Earn up to £12.50/hour for wake hours
  • Dive into fully funded training and development
  • Enjoy consistent work with rolling rotas
  • Accrued holiday pay & a flexible zero‑hours contract
  • Access to the Active Learning Hub with brilliant opportunities
  • Nest Personal Pension scheme
