Night Shift Train Cleaner
Location: Eastbourne Depot, East Sussex
Pay: £15.19 - £22.02 per hour (depending on shift)
Interviews: Immediate Start - 6-month initial contract (temp to perm)

Responsibilities
  • Prepare trains for the day by cleaning interiors to a high standard, including vacuuming, mopping, sanitising, and deep cleaning.
  • Work both independently and with colleagues, staying active and engaged to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Receive full training and PPE, with support from an experienced, friendly team.

  • Previous experience in transportation, housekeeping, or similar cleaning environments is beneficial but not essential.
Working hours & pay
  • Night shifts on a 7-day rotating roster: 21:30 – 05:00
  • Average 35 hours per week, with overtime and rest day work available
  • Potential for longer stretches up to 13 consecutive days to maximise pay and rest periods afterwards
  • Overtime pay: standard hours £15.19 p/h; overtime £18.22 p/h; rest day £19.74 p/h; Sunday £22.02 p/h
  • Pay increase after 12 weeks under Agency Worker Rights
  • Opportunity to move into a permanent role after 6 months
