Overview

Night Reception / cleaner. Are you dependable, calm under pressure, and proud to keep things safe, clean, and secure behind the scenes?

Do you want to join a dedicated Front of House team at one of the UK’s leading spa destinations? At Ragdale Hall Spa, we believe a great guest experience doesn’t end when the sun goes down—and that’s where our Night Receptionist / Cleaner comes in. We’re looking for a proactive, reassuring individual to help ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our guests throughout the night, while keeping our front-of-house areas spotless and ready for the day ahead. Working closely with our Duty Night Porter, Duty Manager, and Reception team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining security, responding to guest needs, and ensuring everything runs smoothly during the quietest hours. If you’re reliable, observant, and ready for a new challenge, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Cover the reception desk during security checks.
  • Respond to guest queries and requests with professionalism and care.
  • Support Reception and the Duty Manager with overnight operations.
  • Assist with late check-ins, early departures, and guest movements.
  • Keep public areas clean, tidy, and welcoming throughout the night.
  • Be fully trained in fire evacuation procedures and lead the team with the Duty Porter during emergencies.
  • Handle incidents calmly and efficiently, following established procedures.
  • Complete nightly reports and handovers for the morning team.
  • Maintain a reassuring presence and uphold Ragdale’s high standards of guest care.
  • Assist Reception with data entry tasks as required.

Hours of Work
  • 22.5 hours per week (3 nights one week, 2 the next).
  • 9:45pm – 7:45am.
Salary
  • £13.00 per hour.
