A local care provider in Malvern is seeking a Night Care Assistant to support residents living with dementia. The role requires 20 hours of work per week on a flexible shift pattern including nights and weekends. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training, a supportive work environment, and benefits including a strong pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.

Howbury House is a 32 bed residential home for people who need care and support and are living with dementia. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring people to join our team to enhance the lives of our residents.
The successful applicant must have the ability to listen and communicate orally and in writing. The ability to work as part of a team but also be able to work on own initiative, be caring, compassionate and motivated. An understanding of the rights and needs of older people and the ability to treat people with dignity and respect and as individuals.

We have x1 waking night care assistant post at 20 hours per week
You will work on a three-week rota basis including weekends and bank holiday working which are paid at an enhanced rate. Night care assistants are also paid enhanced rates for unsociable hours.
Howbury House also provides an excellent induction and training package to include the Care Certificate and different levels of apprenticeships. You will receive regular supervision and support.
In return, we expect you to be reliable and committed to the aims of the team.
