A local government council in Bath is seeking a dedicated Extra Care Night Support Worker. This role involves assisting tenants with personal care while promoting their independence and dignity in a supportive environment. We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated person to work on a permanent basis within one of our Extra Care schemes as an Extra Care Night Support Worker. The Orchard is based in Combe Down, Bath.
This role is for waking night of 25 hours per week, the shifts run from 9.30pm to 8am the following day. The successful applicant will join a well-established to deliver high quality care to individuals in their own homes. You will be working on a part time basis on a fixed 4-week rota which will include weekends and bank holidays.
Extra Care Housing is for adults, who have some care needs, with an assured tenancy in a self-contained flat in a purpose-built or adapted scheme. Our Extra care housing services have been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in June 2022.
Previous experience of working in care would be an advantage, but a commitment to deliver quality care is essential and full training will be provided. This opportunity is ideal for an individual aiming to develop their career and gain hands on experience in a thriving and friendly workplace.
